Position Summary:

 

The Financial Analyst Business Unit Control is involved in preparing, analyzing, and reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data for Nestlé Health Science US entities to local management and the Nestlé Group. The Financial Analyst will also support internal customers with financial reporting needs. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting, adhering to Nestlé's reporting policies and systems.

 

 This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance to our Corporate HQ in Bridgewater, NJ.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and post monthly and year-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
  • Deliver accurate, timely MOGE & Globe expense reporting, including variance analysis to plan and identification of risks/opportunities
  • Prepare intercompany invoices  and ensure monthly intergroup balance alignment
  • Support period-end close activities, partnering cross-functionally with R&D and Manufacturing
  • Support budget monitoring, forecasting, and analysis of actual results, including personnel overhead and T&E
  • Provide manufacturing fixed asset and CAPEX support
  • Review and monitor open purchase orders and resolve PO issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable and stakeholders
  • Respond to cross-functional inquiries and support management and financial reporting
  • Participate in financial reporting and accounting initiatives, including working capital analysis, balance sheet clean-up, and ad hoc projects

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred major in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance functions
  • SAP system hands on experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications to include Excel
  • CPA-track candidate preferred

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong communication skills: both written and oral
  • Forward-thinking, and flexible to change
  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data, including financial statements

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $68,000- $84,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
