Position Summary:
The Change Management Consultant will support change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of organizational changes. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assist in developing and executing change management strategies that minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills, along with experience in supporting complex change initiatives.

 

Location: This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.     
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, develop and implement the execution of change management strategies and plans, including communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess the impact of proposed changes on employees, processes, and systems.
• Conduct change readiness assessments to identify potential barriers and resistance to change, developing mitigation strategies to address them.
• Create and deliver effective communication materials, including presentations, emails, and other relevant content, to inform and engage employees throughout the change process.
• Support the development and implementation of training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to and embrace change.
• Provide support to leaders and managers to enable them to effectively lead their teams through change.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives, collecting feedback and making adjustments as required to ensure successful adoption and implementation.
• Promote a culture of change readiness and resilience within the organization, encouraging a positive and proactive approach to change.


Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in change management with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Formal training or certification in change management (e.g. Prosci Certification) 

 

Skills:
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Project Management: Basic project management skills to assist in managing multiple initiatives.
Change Management Strategies: Experience in supporting the development and execution of change management strategies and plans.
Data Analysis: Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel.
Process Improvements: Ability to support change and implement process improvements in a complex organizational environment.
Analytical Thinking: Good analytical and critical thinking skills to interface at various levels of the organization.
Change Management Methodologies: Basic knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks, such as Prosci or ADKAR.
Change Readiness Assessments: Experience in assisting with change readiness assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
Communication Materials: Ability to create and deliver effective communication materials to diverse audiences.
Effectiveness Measurement: Ability to assist in analyzing and interpreting data to measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives.

The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
