Position Summary:
As the Coordinator of Accounts Receivable, you will be instrumental in enhancing our organization’s financial health. Your key responsibilities will include managing and optimizing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely payments, and fostering strong customer relationships.
Utilizing your excellent communication skills, you will engage with customers to resolve inquiries and issues, while your attention to detail will guarantee accurate financial records. By handling sensitive financial information with integrity, you will help maintain our reputation as a trusted partner in the industry.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely collection of payments
- Prepare and send invoices to customers, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Communicate with customers via outbound phone calls, email, and letters to resolve any billing issues or dispute
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and present reports weekly on credit holds, accounts receivable status, aging, and collection efforts
- Maintain effective collection policies and procedures
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including rebills and charging credit cards
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns promptly
- Keep tax exempt certificates up to date in
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with JDE/Oracle, Salesforce, and/or Off Net a plus!
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem–solving skills and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $48,000- $58,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
