POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic Data Products Manager to spearhead the execution of the Nestlé Health Sciences (NHSc) data product strategy across key business areas and functions. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of innovative data products while supporting the data governance roadmap, empowering essential business functions such as marketing, sales, and supply chain to leverage advanced data and analytics solutions. You will collaborate closely with various NHSc business functions to enhance data utilization and address new data acquisition needs, all grounded in functional use cases and value creation. Your expertise will be instrumental in partnering with business data stewards and advanced analytics teams to ensure the delivery of data that is accurate, secure, and readily available for analytical purposes. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in establishing and enforcing data governance standards and best practices, making a significant impact on our data-driven initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for building and executing the data vision/strategy and driving the data product roadmap for advanced analytic modeling and descriptive analytics for business reporting and decisions making.
- Lead engagement with functional business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop business cases and identify data requirements for key functional use cases. You will work with business leaders, Finance, and IT to define the business benefits and value creation for implementation of new data products.
- Responsible for implementing data in the data lake that is protected, accurate and available.
- Leverage consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, and ecommerce industry knowledge and deep understanding of the business to guide the team to implement data products that enables NHSc to become a data driven enterprise.
- Lead a NHSc Data Products team in collaboration with IT and business stewards to deliver reliable data that is made available to the enterprise based on security and access guidelines.
- Lead effort to curate and catalog data loaded in the data lake. Provide clarity on data lineage from sources and owners of data, and usage of data across functions, customers, and systems.
- Collaborate with IT Functional Relationship Managers (FRM) and process architects to determine change impacts and perform analysis of alternatives.
- Partner with functional data stewards to ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance to guarantee that data quality issues are sequenced, analyzed, and remediated.
- Partner with IT to support the NHSc Snowflake data platform and ensure data acquisition and usage is in alignment with the architectural best practices
- Participate in and facilitate strategic level advisory committees to determine workforce impacts of data governance and data product deployment.
- Conduct organizational reviews of data, technology, and process interactions to recommend organizational improvements.
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in computer science, information management, or business administration is strongly recommended.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a combination of date product ownership, data governance, and architecture for enterprise products, including extracting stakeholder needs, roadmap development, and requirements definition.
- Certification or 5+ years of experience in design thinking.
- Certification in project management or Agile is nice to have.
- 6+ years developing and executing data management strategy.
- 6+ years’ experience in developing and communicating project plans and business cases, including identifying KPIs, developing resourcing plans, and conducting cost/benefit analysis.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing and developing team members, including those in technical roles.
SKILLS:

Preferred 8+ years of experience in demonstrating data mapping, data usage and data acquisition to deliver large data integration/warehouse projects, preferably in consumer products industry.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.
The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
