Position Summary

The Digital Video Designer will focus on video creative as a part of the Nestlé Health Science US Content Studio. This role functions as both an individual contributor and a strategist of visual communication, and the willingness to provide high-level brand and consumer marketing thought leadership when executing individual projects is a mandatory. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced collaborative environment to support a digitally focused team. The day-to-day of the role will require proven video editing and graphics animation skills, photo / video shooting skills, and design layout skills. The primary deliverables produced will be video ads for digital placements, with the majority of work being focused on editing video and adding animation to statics, as well as, creating motion graphics. The role requires a passion for finding new ways to create thumb stopping assets in “the feed” and connect and acquire new consumers. The ability to concept and storyboard a plus! 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Design and Production 

  • Design engaging and best in class video and animated assets 
  • Interpret brief and concept video activations 
  • Manage project task list and prioritize creation process 
  • Create short form assets (static, video) that deliver key brand messages
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for art and copy direction, constant feedback cycle
  • Test assets and optimize based on asset performance 
  • Understand each brand personality and create for each according to Nestle brand documents 
  • Work quickly and balance between immediate needs and longer deadlines 
  • Abide by best practices on each channel (social, digital, e-commerce, CRM, etc.) and document those best practices 

Project Management & Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate as part of the Content Studio team and participate in studio briefings
  • Work with agency and freelance partners 
  • Understand weekly priorities and help the team achieve the production goals for all brands 
  • Responsible for uploading content into a digital asset management tool 

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent. Specifically, BA/BFA in Design, Film, Design Communication, Fine Arts or related degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of video editing and design experience for brands or related companies 
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premier Pro)
  • Expertise in social media storytelling 
  • Understanding of digital content best practices by platform 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
