Location: Remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ.

 

Summary:


The Director, Sales Operations and Analytics serves as the strategic leader responsible for advancing commercial effectiveness, field enablement, data strategy, and operational excellence for Nestlé Pharma. This role partners closely with senior Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, IT, and Analytics leaders to define priorities, shape the commercial operations roadmap, and ensure the organization has the systems, insights, governance, and field tools needed to drive disciplined execution and informed decision-making.


Responsibilities - Leadership & Strategic Impact:

  • Sets the strategy and operating model for commercial operations, analytics, field enablement, and data-driven decision making.
  • Leads the development, effectiveness and maintenance of field CRM systems, and leads their use in enabling field force efficiency.
  • Advises Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Finance, IT, and senior leadership to drive field productivity, commercial effectiveness, decision-making, revenue enablement, and operational scalability.
  • Enables coordination and integration of CRM systems with enterprise platforms and business processes, driving digital transformation initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, scalability, user adoption, and measurable business outcomes. 
  • Works with Marketing and Market Planning on the development of targeting and customer segmentation, and drives integration of target lists and call plans into CRM/SFA systems.
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight of territory alignments to assure adequate coverage of key accounts.
  • Establishes, scales, and leads vendor utilization strategy.
  • Collaborates with IT partners, analytics teams, and key stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment, promote knowledge sharing, and enable efficient utilization of digital tools and data-driven practices.
  • Develops and implements QA/QC processes and governance standards for critical data elements, ensuring data accuracy, privacy, security, regulatory compliance, and responsible use of digital and AI-assisted technologies.
  • Owns Data Warehouse strategy, data governance, and utilization across the organization, ensuring business decisions are informed by high-quality data, actionable analytics, and clear performance insights.  Overseas the strategy for training delivery and field adoption of analytic tools.
  • Serves as a key member of the Pharma Sales & Marketing leadership team with executive level presentation skills.
  • Leads the adoption of digital tools, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions across the Commercial Operations team, ensuring employees are appropriately trained, supported, and accountable for responsible and effective use.

 

Preferred Experience, Special Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in information systems, sales operations, or business analytics in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower high-performing teams while fostering growth, engagement, and continuous learning.
  • Deep understanding of commercial business in a biotech/pharma setting.
  • Expertise in REMS, FDA regulations and requirements, and all compliance standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse operations in a pharma setting.
  • Proven experience successfully implementing various CRM and field tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational improvement opportunities and implement effective corrective action plans.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

 

Salary: $167,763.60 to $212,829.00 per year

 

Bonus Eligibility: Yes


The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
