POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Documentation Specialist, you'll support packaging development in the Nestle Health Science (NHSc) Category Technical Applications Group (CTAG). Your role involves ensuring all packaging data, including Specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Finished Good Documents (FERT Documents), and Documents of Compliance (DOCs), are complete, accurate, and properly stored.
You'll collaborate with Packaging Specialists to capture necessary compliance information and work with Packaging Material Experts on specification structure to enable quick approval submissions. By managing the document storage protocol and system, you'll ensure easy access to accurate information, driving speed and efficiency. This role spans across NHSc, allowing you to provide data insight. This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packaging Specifications
- Maintain the accurate input of packaging data into Packaging Specifications in SAP and related documents across all spend categories
- Collaborate with Packaging Developers to ensure all fields are complete and accurate prior to approval submission
- Submit specifications for approval to relevant Expert approvers ahead of key project deadlines
- Collaborate with Material Experts on updates to specification templates and other initiatives rand ensure these changes are reflected in the data
- Analyze data to identify gaps in completion, accuracy, or revision timing and develop plans to close gaps
- Continuing to develop your own competency & ability in the system to identify additional process improvement areas to drive speed & agility
Packaging Safety & Compliance - Documents of Compliance (DOCs)
- For new materials or vendors collaborate with the Packaging Developer to complete the necessary DOCs for compliance
- Collaborate with Packaging Safety and Compliance Expert for DOC review and approval as well as storage protocol
- Create and manage plan to highlight outdated DOCs for review and lead efforts to review or deactivate
- Ensure any key DOC milestones post specification approval are met with any actions closed out
Document Storage and Maintenance, in close collaboration with Master Data Management (MDM)
- Create and own the document storage protocol ensuring consistency across packaging materials in line with Nestle Data Architecture
- Ensure content is compatible with relevant AI learning and search tools
- Leverage digital solutions to automate repetitive activities, improve/ease tracking, improve user/requestor experience and improve efficiency
- Continue to optimize storage as new tools come available and lead training efforts for the broader team
Finished Good Documentation - FERTs
- Create all Finished Good documentation (FERT) for each SKU to ensure completion and consistency
- Collaborate with Master Data to ensure any format compatibilities are resolved
- Inform and update team on changes to Master Data processes and requirements that may fall on NHSc CTAG Packaging as a result
Key member of networks within the Nestle in the Market (NiM) & internal to the CTAG
- Explore best practices and learn the ways of working from across businesses and markets
- Identify & execute opportunities for standardization to drive speed & agility
- Drive the development & knowledge transfer to relevant Superusers across the CTAG
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required plus technical/vocational certifications & tangible work experience to fit the role
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or data management fields preferred
- Position requires approximately 0-10% travel
- 2-3 years of experience with SAP/GLOBE, SAP-RM, H2M, LORA
- Experience in data management, including data analytics tools, architecture and visualization
- Familiarity with packaging specifications and structure
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite including SharePoint and PowerBI
- Experience working in cross functional teams, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Office 365 including Teams, SharePoint and Power BI. Leverage these systems to stay organized, track progress, manage data and communicate effectively

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000- $95,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
