Position Summary:

 

The Events Promotions Lead drives the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact business events and congresses—both U.S. and global—including large-scale sales meetings and recognition programs. This role blends strategic oversight with operational excellence, requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and supplier management to uphold event standards and deliver against business objectives.

The Lead partners across SBUs, Zones, Markets, and categories to shape consistent event strategies that reflect the company’s global vision. Active on-site presence is expected to ensure alignment, engagement, and flawless execution. Events are designed to foster meaningful audience connections, elevate brand presence, and support commercial outcomes. This role translates strategic goals into compelling, multi-channel experiences that strengthen the company’s global footprint.

 

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of large-scale sales team events, including managing every aspect of National Sales Meetings and coordinating Pinnacle Sales Award trips from start to finish
  • Lead the full lifecycle of global events and congresses, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Develop event frameworks, agendas, timelines, and communication plans
  • Partner with the procurement team to manage supplier sourcing, RFQ/RFP processes, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and seamless support for successful events
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, medical, procurement) and external partners to optimize event participation and impact
  • Oversee budget accountability, resource allocation, and operational logistics
  • Curate high-impact initiatives, sponsorships, and engagement activities specifically targeting healthcare practioners (HCP's)
  • Integrate traditional and digital channels for event promotion and execution
  • Govern the Event Management Playbook, documenting best practices and ensuring consistency
  • Measure event ROI, gather participant feedback, and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership, key professional associations, and stakeholders
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements with event organizers in alignment with global business strategy and budget
  • Coordinate key activities such as symposia, exhibitions, and expert meetings across international markets
  • Oversee exhibition area development, collaborating with vendors for timely and high-quality execution
  • Manage global event logistics, including group hotel bookings, collateral shipping, and onsite support

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Hospitality or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning - both US and Global - project management, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-channel events (in-person, virtual, hybrid)
  • Hands-on experience with digital and hybrid event platforms
  • Ability to assess event performance and measure ROI using data and insights
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or scientific industries, strongly preferred
  • Travel domestically & international per business need , anticipate up to 50%
  • CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification, a plus!

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management

 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000- $120,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
