The Manager, FP&A supports the Pharma Division by delivering financial insights, planning processes, and performance analysis that drive business decision-making. This role partners closely with Finance, Commercial, and Leadership teams to support key processes including monthly reporting, dynamic forecasting, annual planning, and strategic initiatives.
The role serves as a central point of coordination across the Finance co-pilots and corporate finance function, as well as Pharma leadership, ensuring accurate, timely analytics and enabling the division to achieve its financial and strategic objectives.
This position supports the full Pharma portfolio across brands and provides financial oversight for key Commercial activities, including Gross-to-Net (GTN) and PFME.
This is a remote role with anticipated monthly travel to our corporate office in Bridgewater, NJ. Top consideration will be given to candidates local to our corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Lead the preparation, consolidation, and review of financial reporting for divisional leadership and Corporate Finance
- Provide financial reporting and measurements to cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
- Provide executive summary detailing results, trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Own monthly close analytics and communicate results with actionable insights to leadership
- Partner with functional teams to generate insights and influence business results
- Collaborate with Controllership on period-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support the Controllership team with Period End close activities (SACT, PACT, Reconciliation, variance analysis)
Management Support/Business Transformation:
- Own and coordinate core financial processes, including Dynamic Forecast (DF), Monthly Business Planning (MBP), Market Business Strategy (MBS), and Annual Operating Plan (OP)
- Manage the Demand Forecast (DF) process, including timelines, data integrity, and coordination of deliverables across stakeholders
- Drive consistency and accuracy across planning cycles, ensuring alignment between financial forecasts and business strategies
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide forward-looking insights that support financial and operational planning
- Prepare and analyze forecasts and budgets, identifying key drivers to improve financial predictability
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams, supporting decision-making and accountability for financial targets
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial strategies, product portfolio optimization, and investment decisions
- Contribute to product-related initiatives, including Innovation/Renovation reviews and SKU rationalization
- Educate and influence stakeholders on value creation and financial implications of business decisions
- Support leadership requests and ad hoc analyses, including Monthly Business Review (MBR) materials
- Identify and implement improvements to financial models, tools, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Support the evolution of financial planning capabilities and reporting infrastructure
- Coordinate across Finance teams, Co-Pilots, and Corporate stakeholders to streamline processes and improve data quality
- Lead or contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives within and beyond the Pharma Division
- Other duties as required.
Experience
- BA/BS with major in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) or International Accounting Standards (IAS)
- Knowledge of financial statements, including Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Knowledge of Financial concepts & principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, Economic Profit, etc.
- VMS/Food industry experience
- CPA, CMA, CFM, CCE, MBA
Skills
- Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) working knowledge - for internal candidates
- Nestlé SAP GLOBE, Oracle FIT, BW, SmartView working experience – for internal candidates
- Computer skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to understand and communicate the drivers of product profit & loss
- Intermediate to advanced financial modeling skills
- Working knowledge of budget preparation and forecasting for cost centers / balance sheet accounts
- Knowledge of the principles of cost accounting and activity-based costing
- Ideal candidate has an end-to-end business mindset, is results focused, a self-starter with high initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference
- Strong financial and analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from information and develop recommendations
- Commitment to deliver accurate financial analytics with quality and high level of thought leadership in all work
- Partner with customers/cross-functional teams to drive business results and meet deliverables; ability to influence business decisions with concrete financial support

The approximate pay range for this position is $129,000 to $142,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
