POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Analyst supports the Sales Organization with account management, focusing on trade program setup and maintenance, trade budget management, deduction validation and clearing, and AP check payments. This role is crucial in driving financial performance and ensuring smart spending to achieve top and bottom-line growth.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial/Strategic Impact:
- Manages deductions and trade events for assigned accounts
- Subject Matter Experts for TPM systems and training of new associates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the trade lifecycle management for assigned accounts, including Indirect Customers & distributors
- Partner with Sales Team to implement promo plan & translate into TPM system
- Forecast promotional plans in TPM and ensure that updates are implemented timely
- Recommend planning combinations for Indirect customers to maximize efficiency & accuracy
- Process deductions in order to meet the quarterly goals based upon data provided by Sales Finance
- Monitor overall trade budget and provide recommendations on risks and opportunities
- Ensure that all events are closed within Nestlé Audit guidelines
- Match deductions and validate Proof of Performance through contracts and other means of support
- Attend trade review meetings as needed to review deduction management, trade spend, and plan revisions with the Account Manager and/or RGM Field Finance
- Review and analyze trade reports
- Analyze and interpret Indirect sales data to forecast and plan direct trade events ensuring a high level of accuracy
- Analyze sales pricing and distributor deductions to resolve areas where program improvements could be initiated
- Provide templates to Account Managers and/or Sales Finance for any input needs
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to exchange information and update controls
- Make recommendations for updating pricing and programs as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting ,Business Management , or comparable
- 2+ years of relevant experience with AR/AP
- Knowledge of Osprey/SAP Dispute Management a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong emphasis on intermediate Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple work flows at any given time
The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000- $80,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
