Human Resources Manager

As a Human Resources Manager at Nestle Health Science, you will be accountable for execution of Human Resources strategy across assigned client groups within the Supply Chain organization.  You will oversee talent and performance management employee development, employee relations, HR policies, compensation administration. As the Human Resources Manager you will lead organizational change initiatives, coach leadership to improve culture while being responsible the complete Human Resource service/value chain for the group.   
 
Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the alignment and execution of data driven people strategies that attract, develop and retain HR employees to support the organizations short- and long-term business goals.
  • Drive HR inclusion, culture and engagement strategies that fosters a working environment that is open, empowering, fair, and equitable through thorough analysis of Human Resources scorecard data, survey results, and other workforce management data.
  • Overseeing/providing flawless execution of all Human Resources initiatives while acting as a catalyst of change where appropriate.
  • Proactively challenge the established organizational structure to drive superior performance.
  • Proactively forward recommendations and influence decisions that maximize value for the business. 
  • Provide alternative solutions on business issues to achieve the most effective results.
  • Utilize the performance, talent, and succession planning management systems to help drive the achievement of company goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration, and talent development.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to HR Leaders and employees in client groups as it relates to all people management, development and investigations, when required.
  • Continuously provide Leadership Development, supporting all employees to improve skills and effectiveness while striving to create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute.
  • Review employee/personnel trends to assess impact on employee morale, potential employee relations issues.

 
Requirements:

 

  • BS/BA Degree with a focus in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Communication, or Industrial Psychology or additional years of experience. 
  • PHR or SPHR through HRCI/SHRM certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Human Resources/Employee Relations Management role. Prior Human Resource experience must include HR Generalist, operational experience and change leadership/cultural development focus.
  • Exposure to Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment/Resourcing.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, Investigation Skills, HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker’s compensation.

 
Preferred Skills:

 

  • Strong ability to influence internal partners to elevate performance against goals.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and an HRIS system (ie. SuccessFactors).
  • Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven success in leading, coaching and developing people in a high performing team environment.
