The International Brand Communications Manager drives demand generation and brand growth across international OUS/CA markets by translating global brand strategies into impactful, locally relevant campaigns.
The role ensures consistent execution of global “Big Ideas”, while tailoring them to local market realities, and supports distributor partners in delivering high-quality marketing plans and execution.
As the Manager, you will connect global strategy with in-market activation, ensuring strong brand consistency and commercial impact across markets.
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Translate global/US brand strategies into actionable campaign plans for international markets
- Partner with US teams on Big Ideas and campaigns, driving deployment across international markets while ensuring consistency and local relevance
- Define and guide go-to-market and channel strategies in partnership with Distribution Managers
- Ensure high-quality execution standards across markets
- Conduct fact-based assessments to support geographical expansion and define how to win in international markets
- Collaborate with Innovation (I&R) and Portfolio teams to ensure strong pipeline alignment for international markets
Distributor & Market Support
- Support distributor partners during brand launches, guiding development of local marketing plans
- Strengthen existing distributor strategies to align with global initiatives in conjunction with distributor managers
- Ensure execution excellence by reviewing campaign deployment, gathering feedback, and driving improvements
- Ensure alignment with global brand strategy across all markets
- Deliver international business goals in close collaboration with distributor partners, managers and cross-functional teams
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track and monitor brand performance across international markets
- Translate data and market feedback into actionable improvements
- Identify growth opportunities through fact-based performance analysis
- Partner with Finance to track KPIs and ensure robust performance reporting
- Budget allocation and tracking
Project Management
- Coordinate campaign timelines across markets
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Development, or a related field. MBA is preferred but not required
- Strong business analytics skills
- 5+ years of proven marketing leadership with a focus in marketing on FMCG/VMS brands, healthcare brands. Sales and category management experience is an important plus
- Ability to navigate and collaborate in an international business environment with countries and partners
- In-market experience with holistic brand building, focusing on ATL, BTL and digital marketing
- Retail marketing experience
- Good understanding and experience in digital marketing and social media marketing and eCommerce
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Broad stakeholder management experience, including working with third-party agencies and vendors
- Experience bringing new brands into new markets
- Excellent communication skills, creativity, organization, and the ability to influence without authority
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in distributor-led and highly fragmented international markets
- Ability to identify and scale best practices across markets
- Strong understanding of how to balance global consistency with local market adaptation
- Experience translating campaign performance into scalable improvements across multiple markets
- Exposure to complex multi-brand portfolios and cross-market activation models
The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
