Position Summary
In this Monday through Friday position, you will be part of a critical team tasked to support the on-going operations of the Global Nestlé Product & Technology Center, Nestlé Health Sciences Pilot Plant, Research & Development Labs and the office building for the U.S. Headquarters of Health Sciences. You will provide technical expertise and HVAC operational and maintenance support in addition to learning and supporting other unique and diverse utility infrastructure, and R&D equipment maintenance needs. You will be part of a team that makes this machine hum, enabling this exciting environment of collaboration, leadership, and product innovation.
PRIMARY RESPNSIBILITIES
• Provide skilled mechanical trade services to maintain dependable capability of equipment, including breakdown, planned, and inspection work orders.
• Maintains and troubleshoots motor, valves, pneumatic devices, control valves, motor starters and overloads and related electrical/control system equipment
• Highly skilled in working with the mechanics of gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other related equipment use in manufacturing
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
•Highschool diploma or GED additional technical training or certifications desired
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing, consumer goods or Life Sciences industry (industrial manufacturing environment)
EXPERIENCE:
• Able to read Process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Electrical Diagrams and pneumatic diagrams
• Able to capture work done in AMM system accurately (SAP system), improve Preventative maintenance plans when working with planner, enter time to close out work orders
• Maintain Factory standards - QMS, Food Safety Program, Permit to work and other legal requirements
• Demonstrated sense of urgency when completing tasks and comfort working in an production environment
• Strong Mechanical skills (basic electrical skills experience)
• Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
• Participation in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses in process, product or packing optimization
• Solid problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to coach others
• Able to lift heavy items and work in awkward positions for 2 hours or more
• Willingness to work weekends if needed
• Worked in in CMMS system, SAP experience preferred
