Position Summary

This position will execute process and product development by innovation and renovation of new medical nutrition products and technologies from conception to first plant production while maximizing efficiencies. Deliver challenging, high visibility projects with independent decision making and minimal management supervision.

• Develop and commercialize competitive medical nutrition products to gain and maintain share in the marketplace.
• Project planning, coordination and implementation.
• Document, report and present project results to project team and/or to management
• Establish close relationships to support the markets/businesses (Scientific & Technical Assistance) to improve performance, product quality and installing new lines
• Coach less experienced associates on product development best practices
• Lead NCE by example including full accountability of owned process. Establish, develop, implement and maintain the owned process (including objectives, KPIs, related documents) taking into consideration both planned and unplanned changes.
• Follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role. 

 

Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSC, or PhD in engineering, technology or sciences or equivalent
  • Factory experience appreciated
  • Scientific/Technical/Product Knowledge
  • Minimum 3-5 years applicable science/engineering or related discipline
  • Mixing/blending or powder experience strongly preferred

  • Business Acumen
  • Project Management skills
