POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager, Creative is accountable for overseeing high-profile creative projects while supporting the Creative Services team's operational efficiency. This role ensures projects are completed within the designated timeframe, meet the defined scope, and adhere to marketing best practices and Brand guidelines. The position entails taking full ownership of the project life cycle, from initial planning and design to final implementation and ongoing maintenance, with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include generating comprehensive reports, tracking project milestones, and offering creative solutions to ensure successful project execution and optimize ways of working.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Functions:
- Maintain clear communication, lead times, and deadlines
- Resolve project scope issues and manage stakeholder expectations
- Serve as a liaison between client groups and stakeholders
- Lead and participate in meetings, driving operational decision-making
Service Functions:
- Direct and implement creative operational projects and initiatives
- Manage project teams, scope, goals, and success factors
- Collaborate with leadership to drive project outcomes
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives
Quality Functions:
- Develop and present project-related communications and reports
- Analyze project management-related data, including prioritization, resourcing, and timeline adherence
- Track project status and coordinate deadlines
Growth/Innovation Functions:
- Analyze and assess needs, trends, and opportunities to optimize project management and operational efficiency
- Participate in strategic planning and generate new ideas
- Support department goals and offer innovative solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative and/or marketing environment
- Strong understanding of creative processes and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- PMP certification is an advantage
- Experience in digital marketing, design, or copywriting is preferred
- Familiarity with creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Project Management software experience (e.g., Monday.com)
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and intermediate word-processing and presentation software skills
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Effective communication with co-workers and clients
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
