Job Description:
The Senior Business Excellence Specialist (Supply Chain DSP) will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing business processes within the Demand and Supply Planning functions for all brands across Nestle Health Science USA to eliminate waste and deliver business goals with sales and service results. This role is a remote-based opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Business Excellence
• Identify and implement best practices for the Master Production Scheduling, Distribution Requirements Planning, Detailed Production Scheduling and Materials Requirements Planning teams.
• Establish standard KPI’s and health checks and to monitor inventory health, production adherence, waste risk, etc.
• Evaluate and implement planning standards and Nestle standard solutions working with the Information Technology team.
• Process Optimization: Continuously review and optimize planning processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual intervention, and automate tasks.
• Innovation: Drive innovation in supply chain processes and tools to support Nestlé's growth objectives and deploy center-driven initiatives.
Capability Building
• Provide training and coaching to the Supply Planning and Distribution Requirements Planning, Detailed Production Scheduling and Materials Requirements Planning Community to improve their skills and expertise.
• Work with a skilled, motivated team of Supply Planners to continuously improve the quality of the demand and supply plans and the efficiency with which they are produced.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships within a network of Supply Planners (including super users) by leading and actively presenting in Supply functional meetings with other business units to share experiences and contribute to defining company-wide best practices and to ensure alignment and standard ways of working across the different business units.
• Cascades knowledge of supply and demand planning best practices and tools to other planners, new hires and cross-functional teams.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the direct People Leader.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or in a related field preferred.
• 3-4+ of relevant work experience in Supply, Demand or Materials Planning within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Pharmaceutical and/or Nutraceutical industries required.
• 1+ years of Project Management experience required.
• Must be familiar with end-to-end Planning knowledge.
• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Outlook/PowerPoint) and also in MS Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Charts, Graphs, etc.) required.
• Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, time management and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
• Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to both analyze and interpret data, story tell and influence key business decisions with data insights/analytics.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and business priorities with minimal supervision.
• Must possess creative thinking skills and problem-solving skills to solve key business challenges.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and influence others across different teams.
• Ability to establish and implement processes and systems to improve working methods within the team and the organization (inspiring change management).
• SAP experience required.
• Experience utilizing other key CRM and ERP systems such as APO or Power BI a plus.
• Willing and able to travel up to 20% based on the needs of the team and the business required.
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
