Position Summary:

 

The Senior Finance Analyst partners with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to drive profitable growth for the Boost and Carnation Breakfast brands within Nestlé Health Science. This role leads Trade Spend (Gross-to-Net) actuals, forecasting, reporting, customer P&L management, and profitability analysis, ensuring accurate financial insights and effective investment decisions. By delivering clear performance analysis, identifying business drivers, and monitoring customer profitability, the position helps optimize trade investments, improve financial performance, and support strategic commercial decision-making across the business. 

 

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference for candidates located within a commutable distance to the Bridgewater, NJ headquarters or other Nestlé location . 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own month-end trade spend accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy, strong controls, and balance sheet integrity
  • Develop and manage Gross-to-Net forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and optimize trade investments
  • Deliver monthly RIG/OG reporting and variance analysis, providing insights into key volume, price, and mix drivers impacting business performance
  • Build and validate customer P&Ls, ensuring accurate cost allocation and profitability visibility to support informed commercial decisions
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate customer profitability, identify risks and opportunities, and drive profitable growth
  • Translate Gross-to-Net results and forecast changes into actionable business insights for Sales, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders
  • Support audit and compliance requirements through accurate documentation, reconciliations, and financial controls
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization, increasing efficiency and enhancing decision-making capabilities

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Controlling, Trade Spend/Gross-to-Net management, FP&A, or a related finance function; CPG or consumer health experience preferred
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial controls
  • Proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system, SAP BW, Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI and Power Query experience preferred

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Detail-oriented with a strong control and compliance mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and business partnering skills across cross-functional teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process simplification and automation

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
