POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Commercial Digital Strategy plays a strategic role in developing and delivering new digital capabilities to reinvent Nestle Health Science US through data, technology, and process. This role will specifically focus on partnering with commercial/sales business leaders to identify and enable market-leading sales capabilities in areas such as customer planning and development, sales analytics, field service innovations, and more. You will be responsible for: (1) working across senior stakeholders and functions to identify key end-to-end processes, capabilities, and solutions that can be transformed through digital technology and processes, (2) translating these needs into an actionable roadmap, (3) delivering on roadmap priorities in partnership with stakeholders, partners, and digital teams, resulting in adoption, efficiency gains, and ROI.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with business units and functions to identify key end-to-end commercial/sales processes and capabilities that can be established and improved with data and technology, including facilitating sessions for problem/need identification and requirement discovery.
- Manage relevant stakeholder relationships to identify opportunities for digital capabilities; gather cross-functional requirements to ensure delivery according to business needs and goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and strategic roadmaps for Sales digital transformation and reinvention, including defining key success indicators and milestones with stakeholders.
- Manage sales/commercial tools and technologies as necessary, ensuring roadmap and resources are in place to support, maintain, and enhance toolset as necessary.
- Partner with Digital PMO, functional project and portfolio managers, and global and/or regional teams to structure, manage, and deliver roadmap initiatives.
- Partner with and navigate global teams to ensure successful collaboration on digital initiatives and strategic use of global solutions, processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- As applicable, develop talent by supporting performance management and fostering the functional, technical, and strategic growth of direct reports.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our team delivers market-leading digital capabilities.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years’ experience in digital product management for either customer-facing or enterprise products, including extracting stakeholder needs, roadmap development, and requirements definition.
- 4+ years’ experience in developing and communicating capability roadmaps and business cases, including identifying success measures and conducting cost/benefit analysis.
- 3+ years’ experience managing and developing team members, including those in technical roles.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in commercial business processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and lead without formal authority.
- Strong ability to understand and articulate complex business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Agile certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner
- Experience with business process mapping and diagramming with UML (unified modeling language)
The approximate pay range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
