NHS US, LLC. seeks a Senior Manager Procurement Category Management in Bridgewater, NJ
Duties: Responsible for ensuring reports have the appropriate tools, clear expectations, sufficient skills, and timely performance feedback to be successful in their roles. Develops and implements Category Strategies and yearly sourcing plan for Procurement of several categories of spend for Nestle Health Science. Supplying goods that meet or exceed customer expectations while delivering productivity of 3 to 5 percent annually. Develop and manage continuous improvement pipeline to deliver significant year over year productivity. Execute market research in various areas, resulting in robust Category Strategies. Keep abreast of market conditions and maintain an agile mindset to flex resources and external capacity as needed to meet changing business needs. Ensure optimize sourcing, supplier selection, pricing, contracting and commercialization while meeting quality and service level requirements for their spend area. Ensuring negotiation and implementation of global, regional and local agreements with suppliers to deliver the greatest overall value. Monitor supplier performance on an ongoing basis and develops improvement plans as required. Ensure proactive risk management strategy as well as partnering with supply planning team to ensure timely problem solving of supply issues. Liaise with various commercial teams to ensure two way dialogue and understanding of The Bounty Company needs as well as industry trends and opportunities in their area of expertise. Support new product, new technology or new initiative launches as applicable. Participate in innovation franchise team and leverage supplier partner in securing differenced ingredients and technology. Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of Oracle Costs Accounting Systems. Establish standard costs and manage monthly PPV review process. Domestic travel required up to 5% of time. Telework is acceptable up to 3 days per week.
Salary: $172432 - $182432 per year
Requirements:
Job requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related field plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or in Supply Chain Management. Required experience must include each of the following:
- 6 years of experience in analytical skills including data analysis and business processes;
- 6 years of experience in both procurement and subject matter area supported;
- 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing process and category management;
- 5 years of experience in direct raw material categories, such as in food, chemical, personal care, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries; and
- 4 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
Domestic travel required up to 5% of time. Telework is acceptable up to 3 days per week.
