Job Summary:
The Senior Procurement Optimization Specialist will be responsible for driving the execution, continuous improvement, and optimization of Procurement business processes, systems, analytics, and operational support services that enable the NHS/HCN Procurement organization. This role serves as a key liaison between Procurement, Nestlé Business Services (NBS), and cross-functional business partners to identify improvement opportunities.
The Senior Procurement Optimization Specialist Specialist leads process optimization initiatives, supports governance and compliance efforts, drives business process standardization, and leverages data and technology to improve efficiency, user experience, and business performance. The incumbent operates with a high degree of autonomy while supporting strategic Procurement priorities and ensuring successful execution of initiatives across Direct Materials, Indirect Procurement (S&IM, PFME and CAPEX), Contract Manufacturing, Supplier Management, and Procurement Operations. This is a remote-based opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of Procurement business processes, systems, and operational support activities across Nestle Health Science USA Procurement.
• Manage key Procurement programs and activities managed by the Nestlé Business Services (NBS), on behalf of the market, and provide subject matter expertise on Procurement processes, systems, and related activities.
• Partner with Procurement, NBS, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization, and compliance improvements.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects, system enhancements, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic Procurement initiative.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and business insights to support performance management and decision-making.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or in a related field required.
• 4-5+ years of professional work experience leading Procurement and/or Supply Chain projects and working with cross-functional teams, to drive performance improvement or change management initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles in executing complex, multifunctional prioritized projects.
• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) is required.
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must be analytical, have strong problem-solving skillsets and a creative and strategic thinker.
• Ability to lead projects and drive process improvements is required.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, change management and lead through business transformation.
• Must be able to influence with integrity and drive change across key stakeholders and business functions.
• Current or prior experience utilizing SAP and/or Power BI is highly preferred.
• Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and the business.

Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
