Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst provides comprehensive FP&A support to the Lifestyle Nutrition business unit, including brands like Vital Proteins, Garden of Life, Solgar, Carnation Breakfast Essentials, and Nuun. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role partners with Brand Finance Co-Pilots and collaborates with various finance functions. Responsibilities include routine processes such as Dynamic Forecast, Monthly Business Planning, Landing Updates, Market Business Strategy, Period End Close, and handling ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate is results-focused, proactive, independent, and driven to make a difference.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the weekly/monthly coordination and preparation of consolidated financial reporting
- Facilitate the Dynamic Forecast coordination, review, and submission
- Assist in developing presentations, including commentary to support executive summaries, results, trends, variances, risks and opportunities, and more
- Support the Finance Co-Pilots on Period End Close sign-off and validation
- Perform variance analysis of Actual vs Forecast results and provide meaningful insights
- Inform cross functional teams of appropriate financial reporting and measurements to support business decisions
- Assist in core divisional processes including MBS (Market Business Strategy) , MBP (Monthly Business Performance), IPC (Innovation Portfolio Committee) , SKU rationalization, etc., in coordination with cross functional teams
- Advance Lifestyle Nutrition's collaboration with functional finance partners to enhance efficiencies
- Support business transformation initiatives and ad hoc requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 3 + years’ experience in Finance Management &/or Accounting
- Working knowledge of P&L structure
- Background in consumer products and FP&A
- Experience in developing interactive and complex Excel models for reporting
- Excellent Microsoft Suite Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience using SAP
Skills:
- Solid networking skills to work cross functionally and manage relationships with key business partners
- Ability to optimize and facilitate the application of business processes
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks
- Capability to manage several priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
- Positive, continuous improvement attitude with strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organization and time management
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000- $103,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
