POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Technical Project Management, is a vital role that drives the seamless execution of complex projects, making a significant impact on our organization. With a focus on strategic innovation and renovation, this role ensures the efficient and flawless delivery of key initiatives. Leading cross-functional project teams, the Senior Manager achieves project-defined success criteria and meets critical business needs. By overseeing the end-to-end project management process, this role ensures strategic alignment across functions.
In addition, the Senior Manager provides leadership to a team of direct reports, guiding and supporting them to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of projects from start to finish. With a keen focus on resource allocation, the Senior Manager optimizes project outcomes and supports our organization's strategic goals. This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
- Apply project manage tool and skills to ensure the on-time, on-scope, and on-quality delivery of projects with flawless execution from concept to launch
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring, controlling and closing projects
- Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk and mitigation plans
- Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed-upon deadlines, generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, financial reviews, lessons learned, post-launch reviews, and additional meeting as required
- Provide transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross-functional team members, project management leadership, and senior management as needed
- Escalate and inform the appropriate level in a timely manner to address critical issues and ensure project success
- Execute specific complex and strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully
People Management:
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and collaboration
- Develop and implement people management strategies to enhance team performance, foster a positive work environment, and support the professional growth of team members
- Foster knowledge building and sharing within the team to enhance skills and capabilities
Process Efficiency:
- Responsible For the consistent application, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization’s project management process and tools
- Maintain and ensure data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures across assigned projects
- Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) and other program metrics
- Ensure process efficiency and optimal resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive cross-functional strategic alignment to achieve projects goals and objectives
- Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance project management practices and outcomes
- Ensure efficient resource allocation to optimize project outcomes and support the organization’s strategic goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of work experience across various functions, including Technical Application Group, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, QA, Contract Manufacturing, Engineering, and Manufacturing
- 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in managing projects related to new product development, life science, engineering, capital projects
- Project management professions certification or a degree in Project management is a plus

The approximate pay range for this position is $150,000- $180,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
