Position Summary: 
Drive projects, processes and product development by innovation and renovation of dedicated products and technologies from conception to first plant production while maximizing efficiencies. Deliver challenging, high visibility projects with independent decision making and minimal management supervision while coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals      
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and commercialize competitive products to achieve operational targets with significant impact on the results of the team
• Can manage an entire project or process within scope of responsibility 
• Communicate and influence project results to cross-functional team, project team and/or to management
• Establish close relationships to support the markets/businesses (Scientific & Technical Assistance) to improve performance, product quality and installing new lines
• Coach less experienced associates on product development best practices
• Lead NCE by example incl full accountability of owned NIMS Process. Establish, develop, implement, maintain and improve processes (incl objectives, KPIs, related documents), systems or products to 
increase performance.
• Employee is responsible to follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role.  

 

Experience and Education Requirements:
• BSc, MSC, or PhD in engineering, technology or sciences or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years applicable science/engineering or related discipline
• Factory experience Preferred

 

Knowledge of:
• Nutritional formulations
• Aseptic process development
• Emulsion technology
• Protein/mineral interactions
• HCN institutional and retail business
• Business operating systems and software
• Sensory science
