Position Summary


The UX/UI Designer will lead the development of all website design for our Nestle Health Science brands, as part of the in-house Content Studio. The scope will include new website launches or relaunches (both with and without Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce) as well as new features, sections and landing pages. 
This individual will ideate, creating and collaborate with the digital team members to deliver best-in-class, superior UX for our brands. Owning all aspects of the User Experience, User Interfaces, and Visual Design for our websites and deliver experiences with a keen eye on human-centered design, accessibility and intuitiveness

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

UX / UI Design and Production 

  • Partner with Content Studio team and digital managers to understand business and brand needs, as well as acquire deep learning of the consumer target that we’re trying to engage with
  • Drive wireframing and prototyping to test interactions, designs, and user flows, as well as collect feedback from internal and external teams.
  • Deliver designs in HTML, CSS and JS formats, using Bootstrap framework to internal and external web development teams. Brief those teams on the desired experience, with strong attention to detail and scenario planning.
  • Design UI elements using brand’s design frameworks and styleguide to ensure brand consistency
  • Designing visually pleasing landing pages with conversion in mind.
  • Work with Content Management Systems and ecommerce platforms when needed

Research and Test:

  • Drive all UX and UI decision making with data and insights, and be an evangelist
  • Be passionate and educate other stakeholders about human-centric design and UX/UI superiority
  • Stay current with latest UX/UI trends and methodologies and proactively propose and apply novel approaches and standards 

Project Management & Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate as part of the Content Studio team and participate in studio briefings
  • Work with web development internal teams and agency partners
  • Understand weekly priorities and help the team achieve the production goals for all brands 
  • Responsible for uploading content into a digital asset management tool 
     

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • +5 years of experience in digital design, with strong focus on branding and e-commerce
  • +3 years of UX/UI design experience for brands or related companies 
  • University degree or equivalent. Specifically, a BA/BFA in Design, Design Communication, Fine Arts Preferred
  • Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS. JavaScript knowledge is a plus.  
  • Strong expertise in using Bootstrap front-end framework.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Google Analytics
  • In-depth knowledge of both qualitative & quantitative user research mythologies, user testing and usability testing
