Electrician – Permanent Full-Time Afternoon Shift
Nestlé Broadford Factory
Nestlé Broadford, the home of Allen’s lollies including products such as Party Mix, Snakes Alive, Jelly Beans and more, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team on afternoon shift.
Training will commence on day shift, and once training is complete the role will transition to afternoon shift. This role will primarily focus on maintaining electrical and control systems across our confectionery manufacturing assets, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance:
Perform planned electrical maintenance activities on confectionery manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems. Actively engage in reviewing scheduled maintenance with the goal of zero unplanned equipment failures.
Work Order Management:
Self-manage maintenance work orders in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. Ensure all time spent onsite and all technical store materials used are correctly recorded in SAP time confirmations.
Operational Support:
Provide effective line support to troubleshoot electrical and control issues. Assist production teams as required and support continuous operation of manufacturing lines. Train, coach, and mentor operators in basic fault finding, line adjustments, and changeovers to reduce reliance on trade input for routine issues.

GMP & Compliance:
Understand and comply with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and food safety requirements relevant to the role, as well as site and legislative electrical safety standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) with relevant industrial/manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated commitment to working safely in accordance with electrical and site safety standards.

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Willingness and ability to learn new systems, technologies, and processes.
The confidence and courage to speak up when corrective action is required.
Benefits
