Fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the Quality team based in our Broadford Factory, where we produce confectionery brand ALLEN’S, such as Minties, Snakes Alive, Party Mix and many more which delight consumers across Australia.

The QA Coordinator will lead, and ensure effective implementation of and compliance to, the Nestlé Quality systems; including SAP-QM, DMO-MMS (Quality), Net Content Control (NCC), document management systems, Sensory program and Consumer complaints handling for the site.

A day in the life…

Reporting to the QA Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for managing foreign body and Sensory Consumer complaints investigations with Production and Engineering teams, ensuring timely closure of investigations
• Responsible for the site's Sensory program to ensure compliance to the Sensory Standards; including training, VQS update, sensory risk assessments, and execution of the verification panels.
• Act as the site SAP-QM Superuser, ensure effective implementation and compliance to the Nestlé requirements of SAP-QM.
• Ensure effective implementation of Process Release.
• Be the site champion for Net Contents Control, ensuring that the set up and use of the system for net weight management complies with both Nestlé and regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible for the calibration and monitoring of on-line and off-line monitoring of Priority A instruments used for measurement of quality parameters across the site.
• Driving review of the QMS across the site, ensuring input from Production, PAG or Process Specialists and Maintenance.
• Support QA Manger in leading the site's compliance routines, driving improvements in Document Control, Technical Instruction and Document management system.
• Execute the sites analytical testing requirements. Be responsible for sample dispatch to laboratories, and investigation of OOS results.
• Ensure the use and success of structured root cause analysis after incidents relating to quality systems failures have occurred.                
• Own and deliver training related to the Quality Systems as is required.

What will make you successful

• Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field of study.
• Preferred minimum 3 years' experience as a quality specialist, preferably using SAP.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
• Passionate about working for Nestlé and sharing its purpose.
