Position Summary

 

Nestlé Suisse SA’s Broc factory has been the home of Cailler chocolate for over a century. Rooted in tradition yet driven by innovation, we take pride in the exceptional quality of our products—and the people behind them.

As an F&C Controller at the Broc Factory, you ensure reliable product standard costing, rock‑solid transactional execution, and continuous improvement across controlling processes. You provide visibility on costs by driving relevant analysis and reporting, partnering with factory and central teams, and lead period-end and budgeting activities to support sound decision making.

 

A Day in the Life of an F&C Controller

 

  • Product costing: Perform standard cost calculations in SAP; run replacement and product cost analyses; maintain master data with high accuracy.
  • Cost simulations: Produce high‑quality costing simulations to support scenarios and decisions.
  • Period‑end close (PEC): Coordinate PEC, optimize process execution, lead variable labour activities, and post inventory differences with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Management reporting: Lead variable cost analysis, deliver robust variance analysis, commentary, and forecasts.
  • Budgeting: Coordinate the factory budget process; ensure reliable variable labour costs; support labour revisions; contribute to per‑100 kg product cost analysis.
  • Continuous improvement: Actively drive goal alignment, problem solving, standard routines, and controlling process optimization.
  • Internal control & SHE: Uphold internal control best practices and foster Safety, Health & Environment culture.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Degree or certification in Finance & Accounting (university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent).
  • Experience in Finance (controlling/accounting/costing), ideally in operations/industrial context and within a matrix organization.
  • Languages: Proficiency in French and English.
  • Strong SAP/GLOBE expertise supporting end‑to‑end business processes; advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of Nestlé Costing Standard for Manufacturing (CSM); IFRS‑based local/Nestlé accounting & reporting guidelines; internal control principles; and the manufacturing process.
  • Core functional skills: Financial cost analytics, Product/Activity‑based costing, SAP, Excel, and IFRS
  • Personal attributes: clear communicator, strong interpersonal skills, organization and analytical rigor, and high ethical standards.
