Position Summary

 

Garden Gourmet is looking for a new teammate in order to accelerate even more its growth and unlock the full potential of its delicious plant-based products! We are looking for an entrepreneurial profile to take a commercial development role and to carry our vision to our customers and Belgian stakeholders. The plant-based revolution has started, join the team and change the world! 

 

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel brand strategy 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • A commercial background is a must
  • You have at least 3-4 years of working experience
  • You have a professional level of English and speak French and/or Dutch fluently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and deductive skills

Plant-based alternatives to animal protein are key in the global carbon road map and are delivering health benefits to the consumer. This new booming segment very much unlocked by technological breakthroughs is growing fast, very fast and is super competitive. Big international corporations and small start-ups are all rowing in the same direction to feed the growth while gaining shares. Our Garden Gourmet brand is leading in Belgium and in Europe, pioneering in raw plant-based meat, vegan tuna alternative, and many other types of products thanks to maaaaassive R&D efforts and investments!  Garden Gourmet has also a very strong inclusive brand positioning, embracing the plant-based transition in a creative and tasteful way, not only convincing vegans and vegetarians but mainly flexitarians!

 

The position we are opening is a commercial development manager role, responsible for the local implementation of our category strategy, for customer growth management, business analytics… and responsible for all stakeholder management external to the company, playing a role of strategic advisor for our retail customers but also developing the Belgian plant-based ecosystem with omni-channel presence together with Garden Gourmet Professionals and create close relationships with local chefs, political stakeholders, non-profits...
