We are looking for a new Demand & Supply Planner for Nespresso!
Position Summary
To strengthen our Supply Chain department we are looking for a Demand & Supply Planner. As our Demand & Supply Planner, you will be in charge of one or several categories of our portfolio. The essence of your job is to ensure the correct forecasting of sales to maintain high customer service. As such, you actively contribute to the monthly Business Planning Process meaning having contact with a lot of departments including Sales, Marketing or Finance. You have to be able to challenge them based on your analysis and forecast. Also, you drive the stocks of your portfolio ensuring that finished goods are available, meet customer demand, at the right stock location and with high freshness, whilst minimizing costs.
A day in the life of a Demand & Supply Planner
- You make accurate sales forecasts based on the Marketing and Sales input as well as the historical data available on the short and long term planning horizon.
- Besides the follow up and achievement of the necessary KPIs, you report on a regular basis and you have the final responsibility for the weekly and monthly planning & forecasting (forecast reviews, gap review...).
- You stand for an efficient and profitable inventory management in order to guarantee clients an optimal service. You preserve a good balance between min and max stock in function of product fluctuation and stability.
- You make sure that your most important internal customers, Marketing and Sales, are able to execute their promotions and product launches in optimal conditions.
- You take part in various projects with regard to planning and supply chain optimization.
- You are responsible for keeping up to date the masterdata.
- You build and maintain good relations with your suppliers in order to guarantee optimal collaboration and you act as flexible as possible.
- You develop your communication skills: Be in a position where you have the ability to influence key stakeholders (HQ international hub, the Belgilux leadership team,…)
What will make you successful
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar function or in a relevant function in Demand & Supply Planning - Supply Chain Management
- A stress resistant personality, able to multitask in a hectic environment with changing priorities.
- A professional with a strong analytical mindset and who likes to take initiatives.
- Very good organizational skills and able to influence others through solid analysis
- Enjoy negotiating, problems solving and decision making.
- You have a professional knowledge of English and preferably speak Dutch and/or French.
- You have thorough knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of SAP, APO, OMP.
