Position Summary 

 

As an agile and business focused “Expatriate Pension Plan Specialist”, you will be in charge of managing the administration processes of the “Expatriate Pension Scheme” (EPS) specific to Nestlé’s global nomad population. You will be acting as the Single-Point-of-Contact for the active members and retirees of the plan, reporting to the Global Mobility Manager Switzerland

 

You will provide advice in all EPS related matters and proceed with pension calculations using the plan administration system. Within your remit, you will ensure that business continuity is provided at all times.

A Day in the Life of an Expatriate Pension Plan Specialist

 

  • Individual communication and advice to all active and inactive members of the EPS and related parties
  • Adequately filtering request made by members and understanding their requirement
  • Annual benefit statement preparation and communication
  • Responsibility for the benefit administration system update including the accuracy of data provided and maintenance of the database
  • Annual delivery of data to the actuary for actuarial calculations
  • Calculation and management of pension, disability or death benefits, including adjusting statements and payments based on changes in annuity
  • Collection of pension information from HR teams worldwide and from members
  • Liaison with Social Security Offices in various countries.
  • Provide member statistics as well as information to the EPS council. Provide data as requested for internal and external audits
  • Issue contribution invoice. Monitoring payment of invoice to ensure sufficient fund available

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in expatriate’s pension administration in a consulting firm, an insurance company or a multinational company
  • Good IT and digital skills
  • Project management skills
  • Service oriented personality and strong stakeholder management
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex matters into simple explanations
  • Full proficiency in English, any other main language a strong plus, specifically German or French.
