How long will it last? 6 months

 

We are currently looking for an intern at Nestlé's IT department. The name of the department is MIT (Market Information Technology) and it is an international management organisation. This includes various disciplines such as Compliance & Security, Data Management, Digital, SAP and ICT Infrastructure and operations. As a Service Desk intern, you will be working with user support, coordination of laptops, desktop, tablets, etc., and will ensure that incoming support questions from employees are handled in a timely manner.

A day in the life of...

 

As a Service Desk intern you will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Providing end-user support with a customer-oriented service 
  • Resolving incidents and problems related to IT hardware and application environment
  • Asset Management\Life-cycle management related to audits
  • Working with the ServiceNow helpdesk package
  • Installation of operating systems and applications
  • Carrying out various projects and tasks in support of the department
  • Collaborating with international teams
  • Updating documentation

What will make you successful

 

  • You have an IT educational background
  • You have a service oriented approach
  • You already have some technical (conceptual) knowledge
  • Servicedesk management experience is a plus
  • You are aware of emerging Information Technology trends and ICT knowledge
  • You a proactive and flexible
  • You speak English and French, Dutch is a plus
