Junior Business Controller

 

Position Summary 

 

As a junior co-pilot, you will support the financial planning process of the business and provide insights that strongly support a fact-based decision making process, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge.

You will participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the team.

 

Main tasks

 

  • Key player in the monthly business planning process, preparing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis. Performing monthly period closing activities.  
  • Review monthly performance, identify areas of risk to achieve targets & forecasts and develop/follow up on action plans.
  • Enable and provide flexible analysis of information and deeper insights to business performance and trends.
  • Build business plans, prepare adhoc analysis and reporting and continuously question the status quo to drive improvements. 

 

Profile

 

• You have a master degree in Business Management, Finance or Economics and at least 1-2 years of experience in business analysis & reporting.

• Experience in a FMCG company is a plus.

• Proficient knowledge of English (oral and written), knowledge of French and/or Dutch a strong asset.  

• IT literate with advanced skills on Excel, knowledge of SAP, and Power BI
