Position Summary

 

Where will you work? Nestlé’s offices in Brussels
When will you start?  July 2024.
How long will it last? 6 months

 

If you are passionate by logistics and curious to learn how a big FMCG company succeed to deliver thousands of customers per year, Nestlé has an interesting 6 month challenge that will boost your career development.

As a demand planner intern, you will be working within the Logistic team and with the Logistic Subcontractors. Your task will mainly be a key support for daily activities, and you will handle long term operations/optimization projects.  


Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily work:
    • Customer centricity: Coordinate with all stakeholders to assure efficient delivery to customers
    • Repacking – assuring that the orders are created in time for the 3PL to have lean capacity
    • Help out the team in specific tasks
  • Projects:
    • Review complete inbound flow – benchmark different markets, put in place new rules with the 3PL, work on data to find long term solution with the automation of the warehouse, etc.
    • Create different analysis and tools to identify the main contributors of cost and service impact (invoice check automation, reason code analysis, sustainable pareto analysis,…)

You are action and result driven. If you see opportunities, you like to take the initiative to act immediately. You are able to understand complete flows, you have an analytical mind, and you can take actions when needed. In addition, you are good multitasker and pay attention to details in the performance of your daily activities. You are ready to take over challenges on a variety of projects within Logistics in FMCG. 


In addition:

  • You have or are getting an Economics/business Management Supply Degree.
  • You are responsible, flexible, dynamic and have a team player mindset.
  • You have strong Excel skills.
  • You are native in French and/or Dutch and fluent in English.
  • A previous experience in logistics/supply chain is highly appreciated.
