In this role, you’ll discover the perfect blend of two key functions. Regulatory & Scientific Affairs (RSA) ensures that Nestlé products meet all foodlabelling regulations and legal requirements, while Nutrition, Health and Wellness (NHW) drives the internal nutrition strategy across our product portfolio.

 

If you have a background in nutrition and health, food technology, bioengineering, dietetics, or a similar field, and you’re eager to work in a commercial environment where you stay up to date on trends in food law, safety, and nutrition, then you may be the ideal fit.

 

As a Regulatory & Scientific Affairs intern, you will work under the guidance of the RSA Manager within a dynamic Benelux setting. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in both RSA and NHW within a major multinational company.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Legal Compliance:  all our products must comply with food legislation. You work with marketing and RSA of other countries to ensure that recipes, ingredient declarations, labels, and other commercial expressions of our products comply with EU and BE/NL food legislation and Nestlé requirements
  • Helping the market nutritionist to roll out the nutrition strategy on our Nestlé products
  • You will support the team on several projects

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • You are have obtained or are currently pursuing a degree in a scientific function (dietician, bio-engineer, food technologist, …)
  • You are Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a strong command of English
  • You work carefully, neatly and pay attention to details in the performance of daily activities
  • You are action and result-driven
  • You look for solutions yourself and can work independently of others
  • You are always looking for opportunities to further develop yourself
  • Ideally you have an affinity for nutrition and food law
