As a Sales Service Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract CDD (working part time 50% / 19 hours per week), you will play a key role within the Commercial Excellence Team by working closely with Key Account Managers and Customer Management teams to deliver high-quality financial and administrative support, ensuring accurate execution of customer agreements, claims management and monthly planning processes.

A day in the life of a Sales Service Specialist

  • Support Key Account Managers and Customer Management teams with commercial administration and financial sales service activities.
  • Manage contractual conditions and promotional agreements in transactional systems such as Visual Fabriq, ensuring alignment with customer agreements negotiated by the Key Account Managers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of customer plans, trade promotions, pricing updates, assortment changes and commercial activities.
  • Maintain customer master data, assortment files, pricing conditions and tariff updates, ensuring data accuracy across all relevant systems.
  • Perform health checks on contractual conditions to ensure invoice accuracy and first-time-right execution.
  • Calculate periodic credit notes, debit notes and bonus settlements and provide clear instructions for processing.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Controlling to manage accruals, rebate settlements and correct financial allocations when required.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve customer claims and disputes while ensuring agreed timelines are respected.
  • Process incoming invoices and conduct the necessary analyses to ensure efficient resolution and accurate execution.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with customer support functions and key customer contacts to ensure excellent service and smooth execution.
  • Coordinate communication related to new product launches, assortment changes, product switches, sample orders and other commercial initiatives.
  • Prepare and communicate customer pricing updates, promotional activities and commercial information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide reporting, analyses and business insights to support commercial decision-making, customer development and business performance reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Demand & Supply Planning, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality and ways of working to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé principles, sales policies, audit requirements and applicable legal regulations.

 

As Sales Service Specialist, you report to the Sales Service Manager and are part of Nestlé's Commercial Excellence Team.

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance or a related field.
  • Experience in administrative support, financial administration, service delivery or commercial operations.
  • Strong affinity with numbers, financial processes and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating across functions.
  • Fluency in Dutch and/or French, and English (being trilingual is a big plus).
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, AFO or similar systems is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Visual Fabriq is considered a plus.
