A day in the life of a Trade & Shopper Marketeer Garden Gourmet

 

  • Making it a priority to build and maintain strategic partnerships with account management for optimal customer relationships with your focus customers. You strengthen and broaden our relationship with trade partners, foster intensive collaboration to implement category vision, shelf vision, and launch plans, and analyse the results of these actions. You help assortment managers in accelerating the protein transition for your customers.
  • Taking responsibility for shelf advice, working towards optimal shelf placement of our assortment and of the overall category for your customers.
  • Being accountable for the operational follow-up and execution of category plans defined in the commercial planning process. You work in multidisciplinary teams for product launches, in-store activations, and customer projects.
  • Acting as an expert in shopper and category knowledge and serving as a knowledge partner to your colleagues and customers. You analyze available data related to sales channels, categories, and purchasing behavior, translating them into sharp insights and growth opportunities.

 

Together with your category management colleagues, you build the category and channel strategy, utilizing insights into categories, consumers, and shoppers. This strategy accelerates category growth with our customers and provides a competitive advantage for Nestlé.

Together with the Sales and Commercial Development colleagues, you work on building strong customer relationships. As a true go-getter, you can keep a cool head, have an external perspective, think in solutions, and thrive in cross-functional and commercial collaborations. You are able to think along with our customers, structure and manage projects, make well-founded decisions, and maintain an overview. You will work partly from home and partly at the office in Brussels. On average, once a month, you will travel to our office in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Whether you come to the office by car or public transport, there is ample parking available. Our offices in Amstelveen and Brussels are easily accessible by public transport. It's just a few minutes from the nearest metro stations to the office.

 

Furthermore, you bring

 

  • Affinity with food and contributing to the protein transition, as well as a drive to connect people through food.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, trade marketing, or category management.
  • Analytical thinking skills and knowledge of data systems such as Nielsen, GFK.
  • A true team player mentality who can bring people together, manage stakeholders, and lead projects to success.
  • Experience within FMCG.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch, French and English language.
