Position Summary
The Veterinary and Breeder Channel Conversion Manager (VBCCM) holds a pivotal and strategic position in promoting advocacy and channel activation for ProPlan/PPVD products within the veterinary and breeder community.
They’ll be leading initiatives & projects to fuel the advocacy of Pro Plan & PPVD, driving the development and conversion of Vets & Breeders as long term partners of Pro Plan.
The VBCCM will be responsible for various activities supporting the growth of Pro Plan / PPVD, including B2B channel activation management, campaigns, events, material development, data analysis, project management, and collaboration.
They will also be involved in developing B2B plans and ensuring effective promotion. The role requires engaging the target audience through digital campaigns, social media, and newsletters to build customer loyalty.
Additionally, the VBCCM will plan and execute events, create promotional materials, analyze data, and contribute to projects such as the Cat Breeders and New Puppy (Kitten) Owners initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and building partnerships will be crucial for success.
A day in the life of a Veterinary and Breeder Channel Conversion Manager
- Drive the advocacy on Pro Plan and PPVD, leading initiatives & projects to support our Vet & Breeder partnerships.
- Drive B2B channel activation management, campaigns, events, material development, and data analysis.
- Develop and execute effective promotion.
- Plan and execute events related to the veterinary and breeder community.
- Analyze data to gain insights and optimize marketing strategies.
- Contribute to projects such as the Cat Breeders and New Puppy (Kitten) Owners initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of marketing & commercial activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders in the veterinary and breeder community.
- Ensure flawless execution in the development of assets, as outlined in the 1 vet plan playbook (pre-, in-, and above clinic level).
- Organize vet and breeder fairs to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage data master in Veeva/Exceedra for efficient data management.
What will make you successful
- You have experience with dogs and cats, including knowledge of the breeder and veterinary fields.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
- You are creative, flexible and open to discover and build a new business environment.
- You are willing to travel approximately 2 to 3 times per month to engage with breeders and vets on various locations.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, brand management, MDO, channel activation or related roles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- A thorough understanding of the veterinary and breeder community is essential.
- Proficiency in Veeva/Exceedra/PowerBI or similar data management systems is preferred.
