Site Safety and Health Professional

Position Summary

 

Drive Quality in Product and services, Drive compliance to Quality and Safety & Health standards. Guides local implementation of Quality and Safety & Health standards within Nespresso Belux. Drives continuous improvements within the Quality and Safety & Health Management Systems. Coordinate and implement Quality and S&H activities in line with the Nestlé / Nespresso guidelines. Ensure compliance to local legislation and Nestlé standards. Ensure the Market Management team leads in all aspects of Safety & Health by developing and driving strategic initiatives to deliver continuous improvement in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset of zero injuries, illnesses, and waste, always aiming to deliver competitive advantage.

 

A day in the life of...

Maintain the Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015 & Nestle Management System) and Safety & Health 
Management System:
* Lead the team of approx 10 internal auditors and ensure proper and regular training of the community (Also on 
the environmental management system to ensure continuity of the integrated management system).
* perform Internal process audits, warehouses, After sales centers, partners with some form of stock, Boutiques...
* Manage the outsourced auditor
* Document management, support to process owners, report on Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions, …
* Implementation of (HQ) quality/safety & health procedures and maintenance of knowledge in the different 
Networks: Boutique communities, Order fulfillment centers, office, POS,... by giving the necessary trainings & 
tools.
* Accompanying the external auditors during the certification & surveillance audits
* Organize the different steps for the certification cycles
* Ensure that the system is regularly updated and reviewed in order to ensure continuous improvement and 
adherence to company principles, policies, requirements and local laws / regulations
Crisis & Incident Management:
* Manage all customer related incidents within the crisis & incident management procedures
* Align and perform Direct Consumer & Customer contact to solve the issues of the customer
* ensure annual phone call testing. 
* Ensure proper escalation of incidents to Nespresso HQ
Ensure proper reporting with appropriate root cause identification and actions for improvement definition, such 
as:
* Reporting on Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions
* Audit reporting & KPI boards
* Product quality
* Non quality costs
* Crisis and incidents
* SHE Pyramid with lost-time reporting and one-point-lessons
Regulatory affairs & Product Quality
* Ensure regulatory compliance for all new products introduced in the market by coordinating with Nestlé RAS
* Responsible of customer feedback management for all product related complaints and the according follow-up 
with HQ. Coordinate the local responsible of the complaints in the CRC to optimize the processes
Develop Organization and Align People
* Advise and support Market management to enable them to take ownership, drive improvement, and integrate 
Quality and S&H into the business strategy (examples are 5S, peer to peer feedback, etc.)
* Champion the "Nestlé Safety Leadership Basic Behaviors".
* Promote S&H management systems integration: through S&H campaigns, cascading of S&H KPI's, ...
* Share learnings and good practices.
* Participate actively in the networking of all Quality and safety & health managers worldwide
* Be the coordinator and spokesperson for the authorities in case of (major) accidents
* Lead continuous improvement projects / change projects related to the Quality and S&H management systems.
“Safety Prevention Advisor” role:
* Ensure compliance with the local legislation in terms of safety & Health
* Define action plans, prioritize actions, and ensure efficient communication for urgent (high risk) actions
* Ensure the yearly action plan, global prevention plan and communicate to the government
* Drive the improvement of health and hygiene on the work floor, propose actions to improve the wellbeing of our 
employees at all sites
* Perform the all the necessary responsibilities related to the committee (CPPT/CBPW) such as defined in the 
agreement of the committee

What will make you successful

 

University degree or equivalent/ commercial studies

Qualifications in quality / teacher / HR / coaching is a bonus 

Level 2 "Prevention Advisor" is a must. 

Experience in Customer Relationship / Hospitality / High-end retail / food industry 

Proven experience in managing QSH management systems 

Proven experience as prevention advisor, preferably in food retail 

Proven exposure to coaching and/or training methods 

Experience managing a team would be a plus 

Project Management in a matrix organization 

Languages: tri-lingual FR-NL-EN
