Job Description

For a maternity leave replacement of 6 months, we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person who will be the ambassador of sustainability within Nespresso Belux. You will drive the internal awareness & implementation of exciting sustainability projects, analyze our CO2 footprint and drive reduction plans, manage the daily operations of our aluminium capsule recycling program with the corresponding budgets and ensure continuous compliance with our ISO 14001 certification. 

A day in the life of...

• Manage the recycling program: You will be managing the day to day operations of our recycling program, manage our corresponding suppliers and manage the corresponding budgets. 
• Drive internal awareness and implementation of our global and local sustainability strategy: Translate our global strategy into local content for posts on our internal platforms, for organizing websinars etc. Promote all the local initiatives in the same way. 
• Footprint analysis :
• Review the company’s LCA analysis and drive implementation of projects to further decrease the footprint of the company. 
• Support the business on environmental related topics: Give input to marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, legal questions, operational questions to all people in the business.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local environmental legislations and with the ISO norms. Manage our environmental management system and corresponding certification. 

What will make you successful

•    Degree sustainability / environmental management
•    Minimum experience of 3 years in sustainability
•    Combine project management with hands-on daily implementations
•    Strong communication skills (written and oral)
•    Fluent in French, Dutch & English
