Trade & Category Specialist - Nestlé Dairy & Nesquick

Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Trade & Category Manager for our Dairy and Nesquick category located in Brussels.

 

As a Trade and Category Manager , your role is to lead and develop the Category within the channel(s) responsibility to deliver long term Category growth and profitably increase market share.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that strategies and plans are implemented at retailer level which deliver category growth based on consumer, shopper and customer insights
  • Continuously monitoring of business results within all segments of the category by using both internal and external market data. Inform and challenge team to deliver targets.
  • Give input to the ICP process to ensure multifunctional input and alignment to the key growth opportunities and action plans at customer level
  • Activate our brands in-store via POSM. Together with marketing ensure alligned execution of our brand-strategy on the shopfloor and lead its implementation.
  • Develop a performance related TTS strategy to support priority initiatives. Establish clear promotional guidelines by channel, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our trade investments.
  • Implement the Nestlé shelf vision by advicing retailers with planograms, which deliver category growth and growth of the Nestlé brand(s); continuously review the effectiveness of our shelf vision
  • Turning Shopper Insight into actionable in-store solutions; enable its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.

 

What will make you successul?

 

  • At least 3 years of commercial experience.
  • Dutch and English Fluent, French is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Sales or Category Management or eventually Marketing.  Demonstrable record of success in delivering key commercial KPI's
  • Understands key business functions i.e. Commercial, Finance, Technical, Supply Chain - Strong leadership, 
  • Analytic and teamworking skills
