Position Summary

 

Nestlé Benelux is looking for a Data Privacy Technical Specialist

 

The Data Privacy Technical Specialist is the person primarily responsible for understanding the main data flows within the particular Nestlé Group entities, supports in close collaboration the Data Protection Champion (DPC) in raising awareness of internal and external data privacy requirements for Nestlé employees and contracted staff and handling any privacy queries, requests or complaints.
 

A day in the life of a Data Privacy technical specialist

 

  • Privacy program: Collaborate, promote with the DPC the Nestlé Group entity privacy program, and roll out global data protection initiatives.
  • Queries, access requests and complaintsEstablish and coordinate local processes to handle personal data queries, access requests and complaints from consumers, employees or customers.
  • Privacy impact assessments:
    • Responsible for the undertaking of privacy impact assessments regarding all new system, digital asset or project involving the processing of personal data.
    • Support the business in managing the mitigation of identified risks and ensure remediation activities are prioritized in accordance with the impact analysis.
  • Audit: Security & Compliance
    • Be the point of contact within the Nestlé Group entity for internal and external data protection audit
    • Responsible for the Data Privacy related Risks, Control Documents and Remediation plans in Nestle Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Data breach response plan:
    • Maintain a local data breach response plan to be followed in the event of an actual or suspected data breach.
    • Maintain the data breach register(s)

What will make you successful

 

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Understanding of local data protection regime and culture
  • Experience in relaying complex technical processes to business audiences who are not technically skilled
  • Excellent time management and project/change management skills
  • Experience of dealing with queries and/or complaints within strict deadlines
  • Adept at producing accurate, clear documentation to meet business requirements, including guidelines & procedures
