Nestle is the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company. We are looking to add great new talent to our dynamic Sales Team. Reporting to the Customer Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the business plan for the category within account(s), through effective usage of trade spend under guidance from the Customer Business Manager to drive business performance and deliver sustainable growth in accordance with Nestlé ZAR defined standards

Position Summary

Reporting to the Customer Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the business plan for the category within account(s), through effective usage of trade spend under guidance from the Customer Business Manager to drive business performance and deliver sustainable growth in accordance with Nestlé ZAR defined standards

A day in the life of...
  • To be accountable for the development and implementation of customer business plans.
  • To develop and implement of customer focused strategy.
  • Accountable for the development, presentation and negotiation of category reviews to ensure distribution and shelf management opportunities are maximised
  • To effective management and control of allocated trade funds and debtors
  • To work closely with the Category Sales Development  team to ensure delivery of best practice POP initiatives
  • Assist with the SKU portfolio changes and range reviews based on customer and marketing requests
  • To ensure the correct allocation of stock (inventory) within customer in times of shortage or problems
  • Accountable for account forecast accuracy for category
  • Accountable for the development/ implementation of customer strategy that supports category objective and meets the strategic needs of brands

 

What will make you successful
  • Matric and/or equivalent
  • A 3 year Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous 
  • A minimum of 5 years or in Sales experience (including Customer and Field based exposure).
  • Sound understanding of the FMCG Industry.
  • Sound understanding of the retail/ wholesale channels
  • Sound Knowledge of Business/Financial, concepts and Principles.
  • Strong Leadership and Motivational Skills.
