Responsible for being a point of contact for all Sales Operations related aspects for General Trade nationally. Develop and implement annual plans (ICP)that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies and lead a high performing Team, whilst achieving profitable sales objectives and targets monthly, quarterly and annually as set out by the business

 

A day in the life of a Field Operations Manager:

  • Ensure achievement of agreed Targets, KPIs and Sales Plans aligned to business objectives (NNS, CIM/TTS,  Regional visits, Customers business reviews                                                       
  • Responsible for the execution of Customer Plans and annual Sales plans derived from ICP. Also ensure and new product launches are executed on time                                                      
  • People Management & Development - continuous on the job coaching, motivating and training of GT Sales Reps & BPS to upskill and guide                                                     
  • Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies including Nestle/local Trade policy, local Trade Terms, Safety and local regulations                                                   
  • National Account Management - ensure (CIM) TTS budget is met ,Accounts Receivables Overdue are resolved timeously, Dispute Management claims resolved timeously                                           

What will make you successful?

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Sales preferably in Out of Home. Account management & Business development and over this period has successfully delivered on KPI's 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and capacity to understands all Sales functions i.e. Marketing, OOH Customers, Sales Reps & BPS's     
  • Category development experience with a Distributor or Retail operations                                                                                                                                                  
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles
  • Microsoft office package (Excel, Word & Power Point)
