Position Title: Warehouse Controller
Qualification: Matric with Maths, Diploma in preferably Supply Chain Management, Economics, Logistics, or operations.
At least 2-3 years relevant and successful operational experience in a materials handling role in the warehouse

Position Summary
To plan, execute, capture and oversee all activities connected with the inventory control, effective safe handling, storage and transportation of all materials from point of arrival through to Co -Manufacturers. Create STO's timeously, ready for dispatch, in correct quantity, to ensure that Co -Manufacturers operates at maximum efficiency. Liaise closely with immediate Co -Manufacturers, MRP Planner, Factory Warehouse Controllers and relevant external parties.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Controller
Logistics
- Ensure efficient utilization of Transportation, optimally handle dispatches.
- Ensure all Milk OBD's are executed from Sending Plants
Stock Management
- Ensuring deliveries are Goods receipted on time, in the right quantity for raw, packaging, semi-finished , bulk and finished goods materials in an efficient and effective way.
- Ensure document compliance and tracking (POD, NQMS, OBD,COA etc.)
- Ensure stock accuracy through the coordination of cycle counts and monthly stock counts with Co-Packers
- Participation in key Monthly stock counts at Co-Packer sites
- Maintain Warehousing Master Data for materials on SAP
- Ensure defective stock (expired/damaged/blocked) is managed according to the standard and procedures
- Ensure pallets are maintained (Returns, Receipts, Stock Counts, Housekeeping) at Co-Packers (3rd party pallets and Nestlé pallets)
Administration
- Creation of OBD's on SAP
- Effective Implementation of procedures
- Ensure all fresh milk is captured timeously in SAP
- Ensure that the milk file, butter fat & Skim is kept up to date
- Ensure production recording for all Co-Manufacturers not on SAP
Compliance
- Conducting health checks on SAP
- Drive compliance with quality control systems and procedures through routine housekeeping checks within the Co-Packing.
- Drive safety compliance to ensure a safe working environment through the 12 Life Saving rules and Site Safety

What will make you successful?
- Matric with Maths, and 2-3 year full-time diploma in preferably Supply Chain Management, Economics, Logistics, or operations
- At least 2-3 years relevant and successful operational experience in a materials handling role in the warehouse.
- Relevant operational experience at a factory level, in the following areas is beneficial:
- Dispatch (Customer and Distribution Centre deliveries)
- Raw Materials Receiving (Liquid Bulk, Raw and Packaging)
- Interfactory Supply
- Transportation
- Issues to Co-Packers
- Receipt to Co-Packers
- Stock Control (Materials and Pallets)
- Active involvement in NCE
- Desirable to have experience as a pillar lead, SHE Representative, and/or Food Safety Representative.
- Extensive SAP Knowledge in Materials Handling, ideally a MH Superuser
- Understanding of the overall supply chain (end to end process)
- Warehouse process and procedures
- PC Literacy: Excel (intermediate), Outlook, and Word (intermediate)
- Understanding the SAP Co-Manufacturing process and guidelines
- Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) knowledge
