Position Summary


Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a dynamic, proactive professional to join our Nestle Professional team in the South Eastern Europe (SEE) region. The new colleague will provide insight and strongly support a fact-based decision-making process, elaborating on the business environment, data analysis & specialist financial judgment. He/She will serve as a local advisor and key stakeholder for the company’s local controlling operations, using your research, analysis, and experience to develop tangible proposals, and assist in the preparation of all key budgetary milestones and follow-ups, while collaborating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders 

 

A day in the life of a Business Controller:

•    Prepares the annual budget at the SEE level by category and involvement in the preparation of business plans at the SEE level.

•    Prepare long term and short term P & L (MBS, DF, Rev) for category. Provides associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value

•    Provides support in the implementation of the MBS / ICP strategy in this category.

•    Prepare presentations and actively participate in the monthly business planning process (especially MSR, MFR / MGR), ensure transparency and direction towards the achievement of category objectives at any point in the process. Prepare dynamic P & L forecast.

•    Provides full transparency on key business KPIs both within local management (i.e. Brand managers), SEM BU Controller and BEO (i.e. YTD / YTG analysis on P & L lines, DF comments, management letter).

•    Collaborates closely with the Decision Support department to perform the pre-PEC verification procedure. Ensures that all supplies are recorded correctly and on time (input for PFME, non-conforming goods, Raw & Pack supply)

•    Collaborates closely with the local marketing team. Prepares PFME reports, promoting the Return on Invested Capital culture, including pre and post evaluation of PFME investments.

•    Collaborates closely with Operations/Factory Controllers to anticipate future commodity evolution, margin management projects (including sourcing), based on key indicators (gross package and package variants, cost level, etc.).

•    Reviews and provides information on the supply and transfer impact of transfer prices, exchange rates and other commercial factors.

•    Ensures that quality financial information is used by the company for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood.

•    Reviews monthly performance and identifies areas of risk to achieve goals and forecasts and develop/follow action plans.

•    Reviews product profitability and proposes changes for SKU rationalization.

•    Analyzes and proposes options for the product portfolio to identify cost optimization opportunities, eliminate Value Destroyers (including revised price structure / price lists).

•    Provides support in the process of innovation and renovation of the category: SPC preparation.

•    Collaborates with other local controllers to develop constructive relationships.

•    Involvement in the preparation of the annual budget and business plans.

•    Preparation of P&L calculations for launch, promo or standard products

•    TP price evaluation, COGS evaluation/analysis

•    Control of promotions (pre/post evaluation)

•    Monitoring the profitability of products

•    Studies on cost and project evaluation

•    Involvement in the monthly planning process (MBP)

•    Special projects and activities related to the Finance & Control field assigned by the Line Manager.

 
What will make you successful:


•    Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Controlling/Audit. 
•    Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken. 
•    University degree in Accounting/ Tax/ Audit / Finance, is a plus.
•    Experience with SAP and computer literacy - advanced user of MS Office package.
•    Previous experience in multinational environment is an advantage.
•    Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated clarity in both spoken and written.
•    Ideally, you are an initiative, open-minded and proactive person with strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude and data-driven thinking and result focus.
•    Flexibility and ability of adapt and embrace change (multiple projects and changes in the ways of working).
