Location: Bucharest
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics & Project Manager to join our Nespresso team. The main purpose of this role is to drive logistics operations to ensure that finished goods are available to meet consumer demand and satisfaction. This person will manage the day-to-day operation to deliver outstanding services at a competitive cost, enabling growth, in a compliant and sustainable way.
A day in the life of a Logistics & Project Manager:
- Develop and implement the distribution network strategy for the market, ensuring efficient logistics processes to reduce cost & create value for the company.
- Develop new distribution services in close collaboration with Commercial and Marketing.
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements, maintain and develop KPI dashboards and measure the performance of Logistics Service Providers.
- Manage the full logistics and distribution budget.
- Effectively manage Third Party Providers and Service Level Agreements.
- Drive improvement and innovation development opportunities in the services delivered by Third Party Providers.
- Support the procurement department and actively participate in tender processes regarding the services in scope.
- Manage inventory reconciliation between Nespresso system and 3PL.
- Identifies solutions (either existing through Nespresso HQ, or locally developed through third parties) to improve logistics operations and to develop & launch new services.
- Develop the business plans related to these projects and oversee the project management from idea to final implementation.
What will make you successful:
- Strong experience in supply chain management.
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics, warehousing, last-mile delivery, with a consumer experience-focused mindset (preferably with experience in eCommerce, in a luxury brand or FMCG).

Experience as a team manager.

Analytical mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Experience in managing strategic suppliers and complex projects.
- English - advanced
- Experience and certified in LEAN Six Sigma methodology – this is a plus, but not mandatory.
