We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical and Quality Manager to join our Nespresso team. The main purpose of this role is to drive quality in products and services, ensure compliance in safety, health, and environment standards, safeguard a consistent consumer experience across channels and drive sustainability strategy for Nespresso in the market.

A day in the life of a Technical and Quality Manager:

• Drive quality in products and services and compliance in safety, health & environment standards. Safeguard a consistent consumer experience across channels by owning the feedback management process and driving cross functional continuous improvement.
• Drive the environmental initiatives and programmes of Nespresso Romania, aligned with the global Nespresso strategy and the Nestle standards. Implement and maintain local sustainability projects.
• Perform audit certifications, verify audits are passed and assure that actions are followed up. Be the gate keeper to adherence to the processes, standards and guidelines throughout the organization
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance to local legislation, as well as keep and increase awareness of safety and health both within Nespresso organization and with external suppliers.
• Facilitate a continuous improvement cycle to offer best in class customer experience.
• Ensure effective and strategic management of Third Party Providers (After Sales Service, Recycling Programs Providers etc.) and Service Level Agreements. Ensure these are in line with the Nespresso brand purpose and in compliance with local regulations and Nestlé standards and policies.
• Manage and monitor the budget within scope.
• Lead the team and ensure the team members collaborate effectively and understand their shared goals, purpose and contribution to the organization. 
• Be an ambassador for the topics within the scope through our organization and ensure engagement at all levels.

What will make you successful:  

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Environmental Science, Techinical)
• Proven experience in driving quality and compliance in a similar role, preferably in a direct-to-consumer module
• Strong knowledge of safety, food safety, health, and environment standards and local legislation
• Knowledge and interest for sustainability initiatives and programs 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (public speaking is a plus)
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Analytical mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement
• Fluent English.
