Position Summary
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist (Market Development Organization Specialist) to join our Purina Petcare team.
A day in the life of a Trade Marketing Specialist:
- Identify, align and prioritize together with the Manager/BEO the opportunities of the category development in different sales channels.
- Translate and adopt the category approach to develop comprehensive executional plans tailored to the specific market commercial context and channel/customer landscape.
- Develop a local channel category plan based on identified growth opportunities, while navigating implementation based on specific performance indicators.
- Participates in Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) processes and align the process with category strategy.
- Establish clear promotional guidelines by sales channel and evaluate the effectiveness of trade investments of all in-store activities.
- Ensure the on-time planning and allocation of assigned resources (budget) within SAP in relation to agreed activities in the MDO/Marketing/Sales meetings.
- Coordinates the execution of prioritized activities, with an attitude to reach or exceed targets.
- Develop the POP materials withing the established category strategy on each distribution channel to ensure the visibility of the brands in the short and long term in line with category strategy.
- Support key customers to shape their category strategy and exploit the full growth potential, leveraging the available data (Nielsen, customer-specific data, Market research, Trade&trend analysis).
What will make you successful:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in sales and/or marketing is a plus
- Advanced Excel
- Fluent English
- Presentation skills
- University Degree
- SAP is a plus
