Position summary

Nestle Romania is seeking for a highly motivated Legal Specialist to be part of the Legal team in Bucharest, reporting to the Legal Manager. We are offering a friendly and open working environment where you’ll have the possibility to work in a hybrid system, combining working from home with office presence.
As part of the Legal team of Nestlé, you'll be a core partner for the business. From the original idea to the product on the consumer's table, the Legal department has a place in every critical area of our business.
As a Legal Specialist within Nestle Romania you will be in charge of providing legal support to the internal teams in a variety of legal fields, so as to ensure that the Company’s objectives are met, in line with all applicable laws and regulations. 

You will be constantly involved in finding attractive and innovative solutions to various legal challenges, always adopting a business-oriented attitude while mitigating possible risks. You will be able to take efficient decisions in a fast-moving environment and maintain a close communication and alignment with the other members of the Legal team and the Legal Manager.

This is a fixed term position for two years with the possibility of prolonging.  

A day in the life of...

The specific focus will be on commercial contracts, consumer protection and competition law.
Main activity will consist in reviewing, drafting and advising on contracts, inter-company agreements legal research, as well as reviewing and advising on campaign/promo regulations and conditions.
Other areas will include: advice on various labor law related issues, corporate, real estate (lease/sub-lease agreements) and data protection. 
Provide comprehensive risk assessment to various teams, offering business-oriented solutions.

What will make you successful

•    A Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable University. Being a member of the Bar is a plus.
•    Minimum 3 years of legal experience within a reputable Law firm and/or a large multinational company;
•    Solid knowledge of civil and commercial legislation: competition, consumers protection, food safety, labor law, data protection and ecommerce related laws;
•    Very good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Romanian (including experience in legal drafting & terminology and business presentations in English);
•    Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business environment;
•    Flexibility and multitasking focused on problem solving and meeting deadlines;
•    Committed team player, at ease in a highly dynamic environment 
•    Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
