Expected experience: Accounting / Finance function (e.g. Sales, Factory or Supply Chain Controller) from fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry

Position Summary

As a Co-pilot to the Business manager, you will provide insights and strongly support a fact based decision-making process. Challenge new strategies & new projects. Where relevant, involvement in the development of Regional Manufacturing Strategy for the product portfolio and preparation of relevant Investment Budget proposals.

A day in the life of...

You will participate actively in the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value. You will be a key player in the Monthly Business Planning Process by providing transparency and direction towards target achievement.

 

Core tasks:

  • Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans
  • Analyze and challenge factory performance based on key indicators and promote the culture of Return on Invested Capital on CAPEX related topics
  • Analyze and challenge product portfolio to identify cost optimization opportunities, eliminate Value Destroyers and maximize the return on investment from
  • Support Business Innovation and Renovation pipeline including development of Manufacturing and Sales & Distribution structure modeling and follow-up
  • Work closely with Decision Support and Control in order to provide a high quality data / timely framework.
  • Ensure quality financial information is used by the business for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood
What will make you successful
  • Degree in Business / Finance and/or Accountancy Qualification
  • Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function (e.g. Sales, Factory or Supply Chain Controller)
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience is a must
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with SAP is a must
  • Analytical mind, able to solve complex problems
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of management; detail oriented a must;
  • Ability to produce high quality financial reports, analysis, for all levels including board of directors, executive management, or team members requiring more depth of information;
  • Performing well both independently and in team, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and peers
  • Confident, strong influencer, creative, change oriented, understands cross functional business processes and can drive improvements;
